- Do you charge a call-out fee?
- We agree the price before we come — you'll know the cost of the visit and the likely job in writing first. No meter running on the doorstep.
- My radiators are cold at the bottom — what does that mean?
- Cold at the bottom usually means sludge, which needs a proper flush. Cold at the top is usually trapped air — often just a bleed. Cold all over with warm pipes can be a valve. Send us a photo and we'll tell you which before booking anything.
- How often should a boiler be serviced?
- Annually — it keeps the warranty valid, catches small problems while they're cheap, and keeps the appliance running safely and efficiently. October is the smart month, before the cold hits.
- Do you do emergency work?
- Call us and we'll be straight with you about how fast we can get there. If we can't beat someone else's time on a genuine emergency, we'll say so.
